St Andrew’s Church, Hartcliffe

Welcome

Link to location mapSt Andrew’s is the Parish Church of Hartcliffe, the Church of England presence in our community. We offer a friendly welcome to all who come through our door. Most of us live locally, so we know the area and the people. We’re located centrally in Peterson Square, near Morrison’s main supermarket and our service at 10 am every Sunday is followed by tea, coffee, and a friendly chat. If you’re curious about who we are and what we do, why not pop in and see for yourself. We’ll be very glad to see you.

Next Sunday (16th November — Trinity 21)

Morning Prayer at 10 am

Our Churchwarden, Mr Ken Petrie, will lead a service of Morning Prayer. All are welcome.

Coffee Morning

Coffee cupThere is a coffee morning for anyone who is available at 10 am on Thursdays and would like to meet other people for a chat over a hot drink.

Collection for Derek

Revd Canon Derek Maddox, our Priest in Charge, will retire at the end of the year. We shall be arranging a collection to buy him a gift to thank him for his 12 years of ministry with us and to wish him well for his future. Gift envelopes will be available in Church over the next few weeks. Please return them with your donation, preferably by Sunday 16th November 2025.

Prayer for Derek and St Andrew’s

We hope to hold a short meeting after the service on 16th November to give thanks for Derek and pray for his future, as well as that of our Church as we go into the next stage of our journey, whatever that will bring. All are welcome to join us for that.
